Attended 485 Interview yesterday, everything went fine, the office told me that they need 120 days to review the file and will inform the decision after that. For me it looks like he basically collected all the documentation from me and will forward them to the Supervisor.

Hi there ,
I will appreciate if any nurse/perosn who has knowledge about nursing profession answer my question.
What is the process for licensure to be a nurse in USA-for a person who has done GNM or BSC nursing in India.
Does it make a difference if one has done a GNM or BSc nursing from India, any advantage of one over the other?

I am planning to file a Fed Court case against USCIS for incorrect denial of I148 with AC21.
Appreciate if have any input/info on below,
1. How much typically a Fed court case cost?

I think the point of focus in the shot of the guy in the boxing stance needs to be his face.
I'm trying to remember a similar pose by Bruce Lee and where the focus was. Isn't the fist where the action is? (but yeah, I too expected the face to be in focus)

The only impact will be that you will lose your earlier PD (if 140 gets approved).......Also, it could cause you issues with H1 extensions if you are in 6th year of your H1 and are re-starting the GC process....Note that your LC/I-140 must be filed or should be pending for 365 days or your I-140 must be approved in order to get H1 extensions beyond the 6 year term....

I need a little advice on sponspring my uncle vistor's visa from India
My uncle works in auto industry and I would like to nspor him for a vistor visa. His family will not be visting and he is taking care of his in-laws as well.
Does including his family members make any difference?
Also, having a different family name makes any difference in the sponsor's letter?
Any help is appreciated.
You can send a sponsorship letter along with other supporting documents like I-134, bank statements and etc. Ultimately, your uncle has to prove and convince the consular officer that he has strong ties in India in order for him to obtain the visa.

The Cover letter shows the confirmation with employer name and SOC code and Dallas BEC # . It says that ETA750 is enclosed which of course is mailed to lawyer.
So you mean to say that I can file another I140 just with additional information when I receive the package or wait for RFE and then send the originals.

At this time there is no certainity.At the rate in which dates are moving in EB2 India (1 month move in a year) your PD will be current after 10 years. You may not even consider coming here then.
More realistic is the situation when illegal will get amnesty and legals may be put ahead of line.
Also the window may be as little as 30 days like in July 2007 as long as anytime (say someone with PD 2003 in EB2 --any time in the future)

Last year i filled AR-11 manually and mailed with 39 cents to USCIS . Even though My Approval papers went to old address and then went back to USCIS. Later on I called them and gave the new Address then only they sent again to New Address . I don't think USCIS will see our AR-11 forms .

There are two ways of porting older priority date
#1 if your old PD is stuck in backlog center, file a new perm labor with exact same wordings( same category too ), this is well documented.
#2 If you have an approved labor(can be substituted also) and approved I-140, then file a new labor with any employer under any category(eb2 in your case). Once labor is approved, at the time of filling new I-140, you need to specify that you want to port priority date of previously approved I-140. Specify relavent memos too, try finding attorney who knows or have done this atleast once :D
"EB3 - Labor filed - Aug, 2004 - BackLogged - Philadelphia - 45 day letter - Replied"
priority date from above labor can only be captured if it gets approved and employer files and get I-140 approval for this labor, and then you go ahead and file a new I-140 for your already approved EB2 specifying need to recapture old PD.
This is all from top of my head w/o having any degree in relavent field, please talk to attorney before taking any action blah blah blah.......

These are so screwed up...
Looks like they are heavily back logged.. (mabye cause the conslate did not accept PIO and OCI applications for almost a month)
I sent in my daughter's OCI for miscelaneous service - move OCI sticker to new passport...
sent it in March and its still not yet reached the consulate..
when I applied the rules said they need a copy of old passport, they later changed the rules and are now saying you need to send orignal passport.
I sent the orignal passport also to them and since then no update -:(
Just impossible to reach them also...am on the phone since the last 2 hours -:( and still waiting...
they do not reply to emails either.
any one else here having trouble with them ?

It is not OK for the attorney to sign the papers. But no body is going to care as long as there is signature in that column. Just keep quiet, u will be fine. Ask your attorney for a copy of your filed 485 so that if anything happens, you can sign similarly in all the correspondence.
