It's definitely not perspective. You can see the metal piece is raised higher because the white sections are thicker than the black sections. A 2 year old could figure this out.

The first turn is tough since we don't have much to go on. I would have voted for Jav if I was responding to a vote for me but I figure he's still very pissed at me for getting his WW hung last game (he said I was very annoying last game so he probably considers me his new Aggie :D ). However, it is possible that he's a WW trying to get rid of me (like last game).
In your case, I have to agree with Appleguy that your voting post was somewhat strange like the last game when you were a WW. That's why I switched my vote to you.

I'm starting to think this rumor may be true. And its actually not a bad thing, My iPhone 4 is working great right now, it's plenty fast and looks awesome. Waiting a couple more months wouldnt be a bad thing. I usually wait a month after new releases anyway for demands and lines to die down.

Bah, these things are rubbish. The scroll wheel clogs up with dirt, just as scroll ball mice did in days gone by - except there is no user access to clean it thoroughly. Apple need to re-think the design on this one before updating it.
And what makes you think that a fix for that is not part of this update?
If they come out with a Bluetooth mouse, I am all over it. My wrists get very tired using my Macbook's trackpad all day.

So this is a headline article based on a diagnosis and opinion of an Apple Genius Bar technician? In additoin, it is coming from a reader on Gizmodo. It may or may not be true that 20-30% dropped call is expected for those areas, but why headline this article when it is merely coming from the voice of an Apple store representative? It is very deceptive and may trick people into believing that this is a factual statement coming from AT&T themselves. Too many people on the internet always believe what they read from any source and that is why the legitimate journalist are p o'd about the future of journalism and reportings.

How do you explain the MacBook Pros with the antiglare screens?
Anti glare is not matt. The old imacs with matt screens were impossible to calibrate and had terrible issues with 'white-out'. The glass screens are a massive improvement and anyone with half a brain cell can sort their set up so that glare is a non issue.

This could get me to finally start using Pages. Right now, MS Word is just something I'm a lot more used to and Pages doesn't give me a reason to switch. I'm not one for newsletters and other graphically oriented word processing.
I can see myself switching though, b/c I'm definitely a keynote user now and can't remember the last time I touched PowerPoint.
We've got awhile to wait though.

"Android" can have their marketshare... I don't think it bothers Apple in the least.
That's the point though - to compensate for the lack of profits from hardware sales, Google flood the market with their OS to make up their margins through ads and apps.
Apple are bothered and hence tried to make it more attractive for developers to use Apple over Android through Ad-Sense, thus reducing the attractiveness of Googles OS
In the end they'll probably make similar amounts of money but through slightly different routes

Ok, this thread is getting weird. Seriously, the BBW fetish thing grosses me out. It did back before I was in shape/thin and it still does now. There's nothing wrong with a little excess baby fat on a girl, that's cute. I'm talking 130-135 lbs on a girl that should weight 110. Michael Phelps consumes 13000 calories/day, but he's a world-class athlete, not a world-class cow.
That's of course on days he's training. Event days, he probably needs less because he'll spend most of his time sitting and waiting for results/his turn. On days in his jammies on the couch resting, he's probably around a 2500 for metabolism because of his muscle mass.
It's important for anyone to figure out their base metabolism and to figure out how much they burn depending on what activities they do. That's how you maintain your weight. You can eat anything and everything, fat/sugar/alcohol, just as long as you keep your calories in check to not go over what you spend. That way your weight won't change, though if not eating right all the time, you'll have deficiencies in vitamins/fibers/proteins which your body needs and you'll just end up being hungry because these calorie dense foods are not filling at all.
Hence why there's no such thing as a "diet". Just eat right, indulge reasonably in any of the comfort foods you need, make sure calories in = calories out, and you're set for a healthy weight. There's no magic pill or magic recipe to it.

But you have to run windows... GPU3 will apparently allow macs to run the gpu client because of open CL, and also help ATI which are fairings very poorly right now in Folding.
yeah i know, which stinks, but at least windows 7 is a little better.
here's the problem for me and the bigadv units: i can't really use the computer for anything else. but with the gpus going, i can still use the system.
gpu3 will be good, but still, apple doesn't allow for all the video cards though

No in bogo they BOTH make money. Verizon, Att, Tmobile and Sprint have already paid retail for the phone before customers recieve the contract price. Apple, Samsung, HTC etc have already made their money. Telcos now have to make their money over time with the contract. Telcos now have to make their money over time with the contract.
One must assume the carrier would prefer to sell an iPhone, where they don't have to make up the cost of a "free" Android phone over time. Carriers thus would want to sink more advertising dollars and apply more sales pressure for the more profitable iPhone.
Again, let's get the iPhone on Sprint and T-Mobile and see how it all plays out.
