Here is my take on this.
Apple has this market wrapped up. People don't know what an MP3 player is, they know what an iPod is.
Those who love the Zune are hypocrites. Everyone hates the iPod. Why? Inferior everything. Plus you are locked into the iPod/iTunes/iTMS and can't do what you want with your music.
Now, MS is doing the same thing. And everyone praises it. They are pulling the same add campaign as Sandisk was. Conforming isn't cool, don't be a sheep. If everyone starts buying a Zune aren't you still a sheep if you buy it? Not to mention they are dumping PlaysForSure, the DRM they helped build, and screwing tons of people who have bought PFS music already. Not to mention screwing their partners.
The fact that the will buy you out of iTunes shows what kind of game they are playing. They don't care about consumers, all they care about is winning. All I can say is they are 5 years late to the ball game. Good luck.
Also, it is slated that the big Zune will be $399, with a nice feature set including bluetooth, wifi, 30GB, big screen, etc.
Apple will release new ipods. If they will replace the current iPods or be a new product I am not sure. But we expect them to be the true video iPod. Wow, those are some BTO options once you get to the high end 21.5".
This is a very impressive upgrade. 16GB and 2 Drives in a 21.5" ? that's wonderful. This bodes very well for future Mac releases across the board. I really hope all of the kinks of the last 2 years are worked out.
Will watch very carefully > I'm really not wanting to get another iMac but I hope these kinds of upgrades will become common place. This would be the machine I'd get for work since video/web design etc. is becoming part of my duties, if my job 1) supported Mac use and 2) funded the darn thing.

What's so great about the rating arrows is you can tell who's got the balls to share honestly, versus the suck ups with high positive ratings for being perfect yes men.

Maybe the iPhone 4 looking iPhone 5 will come out as a 4S and something like this will be the iPhone 5...? It does look pretty good, but not sure if it could really be made this thin as the A5 chip is just as power consuming as the A4 (as has been stated). If that actually is what the iPhone 5 will look like, I'll buy it for sure.

Oh Apple Mail has a To Do list. And Notes. But the Calendar is a separate app, as is the Address Book. So why not also have a separate To Do and Notes application? Oh, because they're stored as special formatted email messages in Mail.app, that's why. So how about integrating Calendar and Address Book better in Mail. It's a mess.

From what I understand:
- transgendered guy walks into the women's restroom at a ghetto McD
- a couple of women in the restroom see him peeing while standing up and/or his penis
- they feel threatened and freak out
- beating ensues
I don't want to blame the victim nor do I think the beating was in any way justified, but if I were a transgendered guy, I would not be going to the women's room in the ghetto when there are hood rats around.

Is a fact that iPhones can not meet everyones needs some people want smart phones with a full keyboard some want an SD card. People will buy android phones over iPhones because they cater to their needs. I purchased my G2 because I wanted a full keyboard and a fast proccesor. I did not purchase an iPhone because I hate AT&T and I like SD cards and a file system.

One of the biggest moments in the World's history, not only America. Osama Bin Laden, the number 1 most wanted terrorist is finally dead.
I guess this proves everyone who doubted America and might have lost faith, that yes America can. Looks like Obama will be getting a 2nd term now.
I always knew it would be Obama vs Osama once he was elected. Very proud day for everyone who believes in peace.
Now, it's the Pakistan government which is in question, looks like Osama was chilling at a Pakistan Military hub for 6 years under the protection of Pakistan. And they said Osama wasn't in Pakistan lol.. he was living it large in a mansion and people thought he was in a cave.
Short-term wise, i'm worried about the retaliation of the terrorists. Looks like everyone will be on edge for the next few months. Also, i'm afraid more and more people might decide to take up Osama's old position as leader.
The war on terror isn't over, but this has definitely struck a very significant blow.
Some bird tweeted to me that his death was like a "BOOM HEADSHOT!"

Because it uses mDP for the connection. It would be confusing to users to have a data only port that looks like their video port (of course this really only affect Macs since most PC's come with DVI/HDMI...)
So aesthetics is the issue. Interesting. Well, I suppose recognizing the label to differentiate between the mini-DisplayPort and ThunderBolt ports would be a good step (a lot of people often mis-guess the USB connection). I realize it's a in a format similar to the mini-DisplayPort, however could this change? Either way, if that's their excuse it seems fairly thin.

The very least the staff should have done is to have protected the victim as best they could, and stayed with the victim during the seizure. It looks real enough to me, and I've seen plenty.
The sad thing is they are basically trained to not get involved. It's a sad world we live in. If I were that girl I would sue McDonald's for such an inhuman policy, someone should as these sort of policies are just sick.

We moved up a rank today some how. :eek: As well the number of active users is increasing. I kind of think us talking about it here seems to be helping! I might just set my signature back to something about folding tomorrow at some point.

Every time a change in the phone comes out, the manufacturer has to make new cases to reach those new customers, necessitating new tools/molds/whatever (so more cost on their end). Any manufacturer would prefer that the same case worked for all iPhone4s because then they would only have to spend the manufacturing dollars once to reach every iPhone4 customer. Plus, less confusion when people are buying cases.
