you know.. I meant to do this a while ago, but lost track of the thought. I have a write up in one of my books, done by Colin Moock, in which he takes his frame rate tester and tests a variety of things to see which effect frame rate and to what degree. I really do think it's worth posting. I'll try to do a small write up on the subject soon.

how can they approve 485's by 2010 if there are very limited visas available. Getting EAD or AP is not the end of the road. Final freedom is when you get the GC and that is not possible if unless we all lobby to change the law....I hope people understand that we are in for a very long wait if there is not change in the law, quota..
USCIS can simply say that they have eliminated backlogs by processing all applications.This does not IMPLY that all 2007 filers will have green cards in their hands.. I am JBARRETT recepient but I got my stuff cahsed the otehr day at TSC. I guess the late was because of the tranfser of cases from NSC to TSC and nothing to do with BARRETTTT!!!!!!!!!!

In Michigan if you want to get in-state fees, then one has to be GC holder. My wife has put her studies at bay until GC comes. Trying to focus on our 2 children in the meantime.....with the hope that at least they will do well in the future......

I just got me H1B approval Notice and copy of I-129 petition. There is nothing wrong with approval but I notice few things and have few concerns/questions to the group if some one had similar experience in the past:
1. Passport number was not correctly typed in form I-129 (however copies passport were sent along with the forms by immigration dept)
2. My Alien number does not show up in 797A approval notice as I have pending 485.
3. The I-94# on passport card does not match with the one on new approval notice.
Now My questions is :
Do I need to get this passport#(1) typo fixed now or its ok?
Is it ok not have A# updated in H1B Approval Notice? My wife's H4 have her A#.
Do I need to get my I-94# matched with the one I had in my previous notice and A/D card stapled in passport?
All this happened due to mistakes commited by our Immigration/attorney.Now she is not ready to listen and asks me to call customer service as she thinks its not her problem.
Any suggestions/experience are apreciated.

Guys, According to following URL, it seems that all july filers should get the RN by now irrespective of the processing centers. I am 24th July filer but still did not get the RNs so far. Are other ppl also in same boat? Please let me know. I am worried now.

If you e-file EAD renewal, you will get FP notice. To avoid it, paper-file your renewal.

Gary, I think I did something similar. I couldn't tell if you masked it or not. In PS, I first selected all the sky with the magic wand, then expanded that selection 3 pixels, then put a 3 pixel feather on it, then inverted the selection so all the greenery was selected with a soft edge. I then put an adjustment layer bumping up the saturation. Finally, I filled the above selection with black on the adjustment layer's mask so the bump only applied to the sky. From there, it's a matter of taste for how much saturation is desired.

Since my current EAD is expiring Sep 10th, I'm planning to go to the local USCIS office for an interim EAD in first week of Sep.
What is the procedure, do i need to take infopass or any other apoointment or just walk in with papers ?
It's not yet been 90 days since i filed, but i still want to give it a shot. I plan to take a letter from my employer saying without interim EAD (without me being able to work) company would face a setback in a critical phase of project.
I also plan to use such a letter in support of an expedite request.
Gurus please advice:
- How soon should I fax expedite request?
- How soon/late should i go to local USCIS office for interim EAD?
- Could one interfere the other?

i think it should be ok because some apply with non-availability certificate instead of birth certificate since they cant get one. Usually it depends on the immigration officer who reviews your petition at that time and what decision he takes. disclaimer: But check with your immigration attroney as I'm nt an attroney.
if possible get one with first/last name, i think it is easier to show the existing one and get new one because existing one has parents details too. dont take chances in I-485, because if anyone get RFE (query) then it will delay your case atleast a month or two, because you have to resend one again.
