You can file until Aug 16 .However from July 30 , you have to pay new feess..Better apply before July 30 and contribute to IV
After July 30th, you have to pay the higher fee, but you will get free AP/EADs for the entire duration until adjudication.
So, it's up to you (and whoever is paying for ur EADs).. you can decide appropriately.

This article is old (Dt:06-Sep-06) but has correctly predicted about SKILL bill going to lame-duck session.
It would be great if our core members get in touch with the executive editors of Information week (All contact information listed in informationweek.com) and send a document representing our issues. There is a good chance that it gets printed.
Information week magazine has a nationwide audience including CEO's who can push our case for lobbying. They have printed various articles in the past about HIB and Greencard issues.

They said that they would request an exception in our case. We are going to request that based on our original submission date that our pending case have a current priority date. All dates were current for our case up until the April visa bulletin.
I am really hoping that USCIS sees this error. Has anyone had any experience with USCIS? And were they cooperative?

My labor application for GC (pre-PERM) was lost in the Dallas BEC and DOL was never able to find it. However, in my case we had gotten a receipt and also had proof of mailing etc. We had to resubmit the labor application and DOL immediately approved it within a week. However, because of the delay caused I missed the window for filing I-485. I had to wait for more than a year, till my PD became current to apply for I-485.

You really do not have to say good bye to GC. If your labor has been cleared, you can apply I-140 Premium processing with your present company. Apply perm and I-140 with this new mid sized company. Transfer PD to new I-140 with new company. Go to India to start your company have them outsource to you. GC is for future anyways, work on your new enterprise in India for 1-2-3 years untill your pd becomes current (whenever that happens). At that point you have an option to file I-485. You can still continue in India, with an option to returning or decide at that point if you want to stay in the USA for 2-3 months every-year to maintain GC for 5 years to become US Citizen.

You need to provide a delivery address where blue-dart delivers. It will let you move forward once you update the address. I can vaguely remember that there is a link to edit the delivery (courier) address.

There is nothing wrong in asking but the attorney has no right to reveal the information to you although some do. Did you try to make that request through your employer?
I think some members requested a copy of 140 approval notice from USCIS by filing a freedom of information request. Not sure how though.

CIR could not even get passed in 06 . 07 and right now economy is down so no hope for it. May be Obama wants to keep hope alive in Hispanic Voters so dems can win election in Nov 2010. Health Care is lagging behind schedule and it is very hard for him to press. How can people support CIR....?
also Hispanic caucus will not allow piecemeal until CIR fails. So I don't see even little ray of hope for recapture. Now left over is admin fixes. God knows what can be done under admin fixes..

I am thinking of Murthyas as lawyer. Her fee of taking over pending $ 2100, Can anybody suggest any other lawyer and there Fee's etc and all.

(Also, I am assuming its for everything, including MTRs, RFEs, Appeals, help with contacting senators if needed etc. that is right?). What does he mean that they send them back home to compete against US? 99.99% of them apply for H1Bs in the 20K reserved for students and if that quota gets used up, they even are allowed to get into the regular pool of 65%. With minimal knowledge, Mr. Prez is making big comments...More like a joke :D

Mention clearly what is indicated in job requirements. If the labor did not allow for BS in any enggg or related engg and just asked for BS in CS your I-140 will be denied for sure. No need to wait for the denial. Why did your attorney filed a labor like that for you knowing you do not have BS in CS.

I was in a similar situation.. not exaclty the same...
I had an approved I 140 and then I got the Notice of Intent To Deny, similar reason. This is what I did.
- I called my unversity and asked them to send me a detail syallbus of the courses I attended
- A letter from a third part evaluator
- An indetail letter from my HR as to what my courses where and how the courses pertain to my work.
- A detailed letter from the attorney.
looks like you do not have any thing to worry, if you took math courses and your syllabus states that then you should be ok. Make sure that you mention in very much detail and repetedly about the courses you took so that they wont miss it. Good luck I am certian you will be ok.

Dude! Just go with confidence and you'll be fine. Have all the documents with you. Have your pay-stubs handy with you.

I received my card production ordered email today. All thanks God for making all this possible. I came to the US in Jan 1995 on F1 to begin my undergrad, switched to H1 in 1998, had a GC PD of 2002, and now 14 years and a countless visa's later, I was greened today.
I would not have made it through this journey without the expert advice on this forum to all the questions I asked - and just seeing everyone's contributions whether +ve or -ve to remind me that I am not in this thing alone.
For those that are still on the journey - just hang in there and your time surely will come!
